Dr. Deepak Bhatia graduated from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and trained at leading institutions in Belgium and Australia. He has MBBS, MS (Orth), DNB (Orth), and MNAMS degrees to his credit.

Dr. Bhatia currently serves as a Consultant Shoulder surgeon and Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic surgery at KEM hospital and a Consultant shoulder and upper limb surgeon, arthroscopy and sports medicine at SportsMed, Mumbai.

Dr. Bhatia is the Co-Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Shoulder Surgery. He is also listed in "Marquis Who's Who in the World" for his academic achievements in the field of shoulder surgery.
