Dr. Vijay Shetty received an M.B.B. S degree from Gulbarga University, India (1992) and an M.S (Orth) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal India (1995). He had a Fellowship in advanced Hip and Knee Surgery from the Cambridge Hip and Knee Unit (2005).

Dr. Shetty is a full-time Orthopaedic & Arthroscopic Surgeon (Adult Hip & Knee Specialist) since October 2006 at LH Hiranandani Hospital. He is an instructor for Educational Day at SICOT (International Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology) and International Examiner, SICOT Examinations. He has also served as a Staff Orthopaedic Surgeon, Grantham & District Hospital.
